I’ve been involved in sports my whole life and it started from a very young age.  I’m not sure how my parents afforded it, but they never said “no” when my brother or I wanted to try a new sport.  You name it, I’ve probably tried it.  However, in my adult life, I’ve gravitated to hockey, baseball and running.  And I’ve been very lucky.  I’ve played with and competed against some great people over the years.  




 

That’s how I met Don.  The hockey league I played in has a general draft to decide what team you’re on each season.  What’s great is you get the opportunity to meet and play with different guys every year.  




 

Although I wasn’t on Don’s team at the time, he remembered me when his girlfriend was planning to sell her house and suggested Lynn give me a call.  She reached out and we set up a time to meet so I could inspect her home, provide her with an up-to-date, comprehensive home evaluation and show her how my Home Selling System will help her sell fast, for top dollar and with little inconvenience. 




 

Lynn had a nice house on a large lot on one of the nicest streets in South Ajax.  When I met with Lynn and Don, they made sure I knew that she was interviewing other agents.  I didn’t know who the agents were, or how many they were meeting with, but I guess she was happy with what I had to say because Lynn called a short time after our meeting to tell me she picked me to sell her home.  We listed and the home was sold for 98% of the asking price in a decidedly slow market.




 

This sale illustrates perfectly my philosophy when dealing with people who make the decision to refer me to someone they know.  You have to go above and beyond and provide 5-star service.  If you don’t, they won’t embarrass themselves again by referring you to anyone else.  As you will see below, Lynn and Don promised to keep me in mind with other people they know who needs an agent.
